Ted and Doris Isaacson founded Servpro Industries 1967. Through the years, the duo expanded their company by selling franchises and acquiring the franchised locations of Bristol-Myers Domesticare Division. Today, the chain consist of over 1,700 locations in the United States and Canada.
Unlike most of its competitors, Servpro doesn’t limit its services to the usual rug and carpet cleaning services. Instead, it’s known for two core services, namely, large-scale disaster recovery services and restoration services after floods, fires, and other disasters for the residential and commercial sectors. The company has contracts with governments, corporations and organizations that few of its competitors will be able to secure, much less deliver the desired results.
The Servpro technicians are well-equipped to deliver restoration services in case of water, fire and storm damage on rugs and carpets, furniture and furnishings including blinds and drapes, and documents. Other services include mold remediation, air duct cleaning, odor removal, and sewage and toilet overflow, even the clean-up of trauma and crime scenes.
