About Splash Car Wash

In 1981, Chris Fisher and Mark Curtis bought the Greenwich Car Wash. In 1994, the partners decided to rename it as Splash Car Wash as part of their rebranding plan. At this time, they developed a concept for using a conveyor method in a car wash tunnel, which proved to be hugely successful.

The car wash services come in many forms. First, the hand-wash involves attendants washing the car by hand using lammswool mitts; no friction machines are used in the process. Second, the full service wash includes an interior vacuum, cleaning of the windows, doorjambs and console, and an exterior car wash with neo-glide foam, soft cloth or lammswool cloth. Third, the express interior takes five minutes or less through the wash tunnel.

The chain also offers self-serve services and products. These include thick foaming brush, soaps, polish and wheel cleaner, and wax sealer. There are machines and vacuum, as well as car care products available at on-site vending machines.
