About Texas de Brazil

The churrascaria culture has definitely taken root in the American culture – and it's a good thing, indeed, because you can never have too much succulent, juicy and flavorful grilled meats! Texas de Brazil, a family-owned Brazilian steakhouse chain, is among the favorites when it comes to the South American cuisine. Its first restaurant was opened in October 1998 in Addison, Texas and it has since then opened more restaurants in the United States and abroad.

The Texas de Brazil prices are higher than in many roadside churrascarias but this is to be expected – the chain offers better food, services, and facilities, after all. The chain also distinguishes itself from the competition by combining Texan-style meats and southern Brazil cooking techniques.

The meats include seasoned and roasted cuts of pork, beef, lamb, and chicken as well as Brazilian sausages. These are typically grilled over an open flame, a southern Brazil cooking method, to produce perfectly cooked meats. Unlike many churrascarias, there are no chicken hearts offered here but there are salads, aged cheeses, specialty items, and charcuterie available.
