About Max and Erma's
The Max and Erma's prices are relatively easy on the wallet – at least, affordable enough to bring your Tom, Dick and Harry to enjoy a great meal at one of its restaurants. The casual dining restaurants is known for its converted bathtubs, which become the sundae bar in many locations.
The chain has undergone several changes its ownership since it was founded by Todd Barnum and Barry Zacks in 1972. The current owners are American Blue Ribbon Holdings, as of January 2016. Over the years, nonetheless, the chain focuses on providing its customers with international cuisines, particularly American and Mexican-inspired food.
The extensive menu includes appetizers, entrées and salads, among others. These include potato skins with melted cheese and smoked bacon; nachos with tortilla chips and several cheese types; bone-in chicken wings with your preferred sauce; and Baja fish tacos with seasoned cod. The restaurants are great for eating lunches and dinners, with or without your group of families and friends. These are also kid-friendly restaurants while the adults will find the full bar to their delight.
