About Bowl America

Incorporated on July 22, 1958, Bowl America is well-recognized brand in the entertainment business. The chain has bowling centers in Washington D.C., as well as in Baltimore, Maryland; Richmond, Virginia; and Jacksonville, Florida.

The bowling centers are the core of its business operations. These offer both open play and league bowling so recreational players, amateurs, and professionals find Bowl America among the best places for competitions, friendly or otherwise. These are also air-conditioned facilities with all the modern amenities expected of a family-friendly entertainment center.

The bowling centers also provide shows for rental and bowling balls, even provide services for bumper bowling for beginners and children. There are also glow-in-the-dark bowling and cosmic bowling, both of which follow the standard bowling rules but with a twist.

The centers also feature food and beverages menus, as well as rental lockers, game rooms, and meeting room facilities. Parties, such as birthday parties, sweet 16’s and bar/bat mitzvahs, as well as corporate gatherings can also be held here. Party packages are available; these can accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 300.

The crowd usually consists of groups of families and friends, a mix of the young and old, so there’s almost always a dynamic, happy and casual vibe going on. The Bowl America prices are fair, too, so bringing along your family and friends – and treating them to games and food – shouldn’t be an issue.
