Cineplex Inc., a Toronto, Ontario-based entertainment company, owns Cineplex Entertainment LP, its operating subsidiary that runs more than 160 theaters across the country. There are several theaters under the Cineplex brand including Cineplex Cinemas, Cinema City, Cineplex Odeon, and Cineplex VIP Cinemas, among others. There also several entertainment brands including Player One Amusement Group, Xscape OutTakes, and UltraAVX.
Cineplex Entertainment LP operates several types of theater screens, too, but all of them are considered state-of-the-art for their class. The Premium version usually include large format screens as well as D-Box screens and VIP cinema screens; these require either extra cost or additional Scene reward points. The IMAX screens ranges from 73 to 119 feet while the UltraAVX screens measure 66 feet in width. Cineplex prices are considered to be affordable for most people.
