About Laser Quest
Laser Quest refers to the laser tag game and the company that operates the game centers where it’s played. As a laser tag game, it uses infrared handheld units and vests; as a company, it owns and operates more than 140 Laser Quest centers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Thailand, South Africa, and the Netherlands, among other countries.
The Laser Quest prices are reasonable, too, considering that players have full use of the modern laser tag facilities. The goal of the game is to tag as many opponents as possible while also avoiding being tagged, a set of simple rules covered in the Player’s Code recited before a game starts. The code includes no running, jumping, and covering any of the sensors, no physical contact with the other players, and no offensive language, among others.
The game room itself is designed as a spacious multi-level maze-like arena with catwalks, ramps, and windows. The players can use these features to target their opponents and hide from them, as well as use them to their strategic advantage. The game room also features black light, artificial fog, and strobes as well as ultraviolet-reactive painted surfaces that add to the otherworldly experience.
The laser tag experience is an exciting one that draws in young and old alike. Here, families and friends can become teammates in one game and then opponents in another. There are even competitive league plays with great prizes at stake.
