Safeway Deli and Bakery Prices

The Safeway chain started in 1915 in American Falls, Idaho and its value-for-money concept soon paved the way for more locations to open. By 1926, Safeway, Inc. was created after a merger with the Safeway Stores pushed through and, today, there are more than 1,300 Safeway Deli and Bakery outlets in the United States including Hawaii and Alaska.

The current Safeway was founded on the principles of safety, such as putting the “sell by” dates and nutritional information on the perishable items. The Safeway Deli and Bakery prices also allow its customers to save on their food costs – and so it’s a win-win situation for them. The menu features several specialty sandwiches, such as the hot sandwiches (Smoked Turkey Chipotle and Chicken Artichoke); cold sandwiches (Italian and Turkey Bacon Avocado); and breakfast sandwiches with eggs, cheese and bacon. The breads are baked fresh every day, the meats are of premium quality, and the foods are always made to order.
