Sol Rouge Viognier - 93pts, 750mL (13.40% ABV)
We continue to get fantastic fruit from our neighbor’s vineyard in the Mayacamas Mountains. This vineyard produces fruit with intense flavors and structure from the high elevation of the vineyard which produces large temperature swings between day and night, stressing and relieving the vine. Our viognier wine was made with a primarily with a “non-oxidative” process capturing the wines the wine’s unique aromatic qualities while keeping the wine crisp and fresh on the palate. Half of the wine was aged in stainless steel and did not go through malolactic fermentation, leading to a crisper, bright, and clean mouthfeel. The other half of the wine was aged in neutral French oak barrel and did go through malolactic fermentation, producing a wine that is fuller and richer in body. The combination of these two styles leads to a wine that is both crisp and clean while having a richness on the palate. Our Viognier starts off with a focused, mineral-layered nose with lingering peach and apricot notes. On the palate, the wine starts our crisp with lively white pepper and spice and later exposed fruit notes of white peach and fruit cocktail in a rich, medium bodied mouthfeel supported by bright acidity which allows the wine to linger and dance on the palate in the finish. Although this wine can be enjoyed on its own, it is best accompanied with creamy cheese, white sauces and a variety of seafood. Drink now and enjoy over the next 7 years.

Sol Rouge Rosé - 90pts, 750mL (12.90% ABV)
Our Sol Rouge Rosé is a Grenache based Rosé wine with a little bit of Cinsault this year, both from our estate vineyard. The wine was produced using 100% Saignée from our three blocks of Grenache: our Tablas Clone A block, our ENTAV 362 Clone block, and our Alban Clone 2 block. The high elevation produces fruit with intense flavors and structure due to large temperature swings between day and night, stressing and relieving the vine. The result produces smaller clusters with small berries and thick skins – as evidenced by the beautiful salmon color of the Rosé. We bleed the juice immediately after pressing which produces this delicate wine with a beautiful color. The full rich nose exhibits bright cherry and strawberry notes, with rich red fruit in the mid-palate and a hint of sweetness which carries through the mid-palate onto a big bold, full mouth finish.

Dogpatch WineWorks Barbera, 750mL (14.50% ABV)
There is a carmine edge to the hue. The aromas carry plenty of red fruit; raspberry and cherry are the most predominant. On the palate this wine is juicy and succulent loaded with ripe red cherry flavors. The tannins are soft and this wine slides down smooth and easy.

Dogpatch WineWorks Rose of Barbara, 750mL (14.30% ABV)
Delicate pinkish red. Aromas of cherry, pomegranate, dried cherries, plus a hint of cinnamon and minerals. Wild cherry and pomegranate fruit flavors. Velvety texture balanced by crisp acidity; highlights of cherry and earth in the midpalate and finish; and a long finish of slightly saline red fruit, minerals, and smooth through the finish.
