About Fogo de Chao

The Fogo de Chao prices may set your wallet on fire for a while, so to speak, but it is well worth the excellent fine dining experience! The full-service Brazilian-style steakhouse is among the pioneers in bringing the Brazilian way of preparing and presenting meat to the United States.

The chain's name translates to “fire of ground”, a term that refers to gaucho's traditional way of roasting beef, among other meats, over an open fire. The churrascaria, as a Brazilian steakhouse is known, specializes in roasting premium meats in this manner. The time-consuming method results in the juiciest, most succulent, and most flavorful slices of meats served directly from the metal skewers.

Fogo de Chao is widely recognized by foodies and gourmands alike as among the top restaurants in the country. This is largely because of the wide range of delicious seasoned meats including filet mignon, rib-eye, picanha sirloin, and lamb chops.
