About Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

The Ruth's Chris Steakhouse chain started as a casual dining restaurant in the 1960s. But through the years, the chain not only grew in the number of restaurants but also in its status – every restaurant is now considered as an upscale fine dining place. There are more than 100 of these upscale steakhouses across the United States along with several locations abroad.

Of course, the upscale Ruth's Chris Steakhouse prices are to be expected but these are also reasonable in light of the restaurants' gourmet menu, classy ambiance, and efficient service. The restaurants have a business casual and business dressy dress code, as well as open only for dinner although some locations are also open for lunch. There are also private dining facilities with business amenities and wedding services via Ruth's Weddings.

The menu's stars are the USDA prime steaks, which are seared at high temperatures, flavored with a tablespoon of butter, and served on ceramic plates. The entrées also include chicken, fish, lamb, fish, lobster and shrimp dishes, as well as starters, sides and desserts. There are also generous portions of individual dishes and family-style side dishes.
